The Emergency Department serves as both the frontline and a fundamental pillar of the hospital, operating around the clock to address acute illnesses and urgent cases that demand immediate attention by patients and their families.
The entrance area is efficiently organized, encompassing reception, registration, accounts, and admission counters within a compact space. Additionally, a waiting area equipped with seating arrangements is provided for patients and their attendants.
Within the treatment area, three distinct zones have been designated to accommodate the varying severity of illnesses:
- The Green Zone caters to non-serious cases.
- The Red Zone attends to critically ill patients.
- The Yellow Zone manages moderately sick individuals.
Emergency procedures such as ECG, blood sugar tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and X-rays are conducted as necessary. Moreover, for critically ill patients, both medical and trauma specialists are on call, offering their expertise for immediate intervention and consultation.
